Li estis prezidanto de la Tutmonda Esperantista Junulara Organizo (TEJO) kaj poste de Universala Esperanto-Asocio (UEA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unu el liaj \u0109efaj celoj estis anta\u016denigi Esperanton kiel&nbsp;veremondan lingvon.
